This Privacy Policy for Majeve Systems LLC ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services (the "Services"), including when you:
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service (https://majie.ai/terms-of-service). Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. Where this Policy refers to "Customer Data," it means the data, files, records, datasets, prompts, and queries you submit to the Service, as defined in the Terms.
Questions or concerns? If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the Services. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@majie.ai.
The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us and the Services. It may include:
Sensitive information about you. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health data, or biometric data) about you as an account holder. You shall not provide or disclose to us any sensitive personal information through the Services (including within Customer Data you upload) unless you have the necessary rights, lawful basis, and any required consents to do so. See Section 14 regarding sensitive information that may appear inside Customer Data you upload.
Payment data. If you purchase a subscription or credits, our payment processor, Stripe, collects and stores the payment-card and billing information necessary to process your payment. We do not store your full payment-card number; we receive only limited transaction and subscription details from Stripe. Stripe's privacy notice is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
When you use the Service, you upload files and submit prompts and queries ("Customer Data"). Customer Data may contain personal information about you or about third parties (for example, your customers or employees) whose information appears in a dataset you upload.
You own and control your Customer Data. We process it only to provide the Service to you, as described in these sections and in the Terms of Service (Section 7). You are solely responsible for your Customer Data, including for having the necessary rights and legal basis to upload and process it (see Section 14 and Terms of Service Section 7).
When you access or use the Services, our servers automatically record certain technical information in log files. This information is used primarily to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Services. It may include:
We use this information for security, operation, troubleshooting, and to understand and improve how the Services are used.
We process your personal information for the following purposes:
If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR require us to identify the legal bases on which we process your personal information. Depending on the circumstances, we may rely on one or more of the following:
Where you upload Customer Data that contains personal information about third parties, you are responsible for establishing the legal basis for that processing, and we act as your processor, as described in Section 14.
The Service relies on third-party providers (subprocessors) to operate and deliver the Service. Depending on how the Service is configured, your personal information and/or Customer Data may be processed by them to perform their function, and each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy notice. A current list of these subprocessors, with each provider's role, is maintained at https://majie.ai/subprocessors and is available on request at privacy@majie.ai. We update this list as our providers change.
We may also share your information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of our business; with our affiliates, who are required to honor this Policy; and where necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising.
We may use cookies and similar technologies to gather information as you interact with the Services. We use these technologies to help keep the Services and your account secure, to prevent and diagnose crashes and errors, to remember your preferences, and to support the basic functions of the Services.
We may also use analytics and similar technologies to understand how visitors and users interact with the Services, consistent with the log and usage data described in Section 1. We use any information we gather in this way only to operate, secure, and improve the Services and to provide you a better experience.
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies to serve advertising. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising.
The Service uses artificial intelligence, statistical analysis, and automated methods, including large language models, to interpret your prompts, analyze your Customer Data, generate and execute code against it, and return summaries, insights, recommendations, classifications, visualizations, and other AI-Generated Output.
AI providers. We provide these features using third-party AI providers. Which provider processes your data depends on how the Service is configured; the current providers, with each provider's role, are identified in the subprocessors list referenced in Section 4. To generate AI-Generated Output, your prompts and the relevant portions of your Customer Data are shared with and processed by the applicable provider. We do not, however, transmit your uploaded files in their entirety, as raw datasets, to these AI providers: your data is first processed by automated, non-AI methods to produce a statistical profile (such as column names and types, summary statistics, and a limited number of representative sample values), and the AI models operate on that profile, your query, generated code that runs against your data in an isolated environment, and the computed results, not on the complete raw file (see Terms of Service Section 7). Your use of AI-Generated Output is also subject to the applicable provider's terms (see Terms of Service Section 11), and you must not use the Service's AI features in violation of any applicable AI provider's terms.
No training on your Customer Data. We do not use your Customer Data, including your prompts and the AI-Generated Output produced from them, to train or fine-tune any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model, whether our own or a third party's. We also make reasonable efforts to use AI providers that do not train on your Customer Data, subject to those providers' own terms as described in Terms of Service Section 7.
Code execution and web search. AI-generated code is executed against your Customer Data in an isolated, sandboxed environment. When a query is determined to benefit from a web search, a third-party web-search provider is used, and those results come from sources we do not control or verify (see Section 17). The providers used for code execution and web search are identified in the subprocessors list referenced in Section 4.
Quality monitoring. We use a third-party LLM-tracing provider to record traces of how the AI system processes queries, so we can monitor and improve processing quality. These traces may include Customer Data. They are used for operational monitoring and quality improvement only, not to train models. The provider is identified in the subprocessors list referenced in Section 4.
No automated decisions about you. The Service does not make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects. It analyzes the Customer Data you submit and surfaces facts, findings, and recommendations for you to consider, but it does not act on them for you. Whether to take any action based on the AI-Generated Output is entirely at your discretion, and the Service does not, for example, carry out purchases, transactions, or other actions on external services on your behalf. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide any rights required by applicable law.
We are based in, and operate the hosted Service from, the United States. In addition, the third-party providers listed in Section 4 may process your information in the United States and other countries. As a result, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your own, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we will take measures required by applicable law to protect your personal information when it is transferred internationally. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, an applicable adequacy decision, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
We keep your personal information and Customer Data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. When your account is closed, we will delete or de-identify your personal information and Customer Data within a reasonable period, except where a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as for tax, accounting, or legal-compliance purposes), and except that residual copies may persist in secure backups for a limited period until those backups are cycled out.
We maintain reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the personal information and Customer Data we process, consistent with Terms of Service Section 17. No security program is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that our safeguards will resist every threat. A determined intruder, a criminal actor, or another unauthorized party may still succeed in breaching our defenses and gaining access to, altering, misusing, or deleting your information, and any transmission of data to or from the Services carries inherent risk. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for maintaining your own copies of important Customer Data.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from, or market to, children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 (consistent with Terms of Service Section 4). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it and deactivate the account. If you believe we may have collected such information, contact us at support@majie.ai.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights in relation to your personal information under applicable data-protection law:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@majie.ai. We will respond in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity before we act on your request. See Section 16 for how account and data deletion works in practice.
EEA/UK/Switzerland. If you are located in the EEA or UK and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. If you are in Switzerland, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Opting out of marketing. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us. We may still send you non-marketing service messages (for example, billing or security notices) necessary to administer your account.
Most browsers and some operating systems offer a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") setting. Because no uniform standard for recognizing DNT signals has been finalized, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. If a standard is adopted that we are required to follow, we will update this Policy accordingly.
If you are a resident of a US state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as California), you may have the right to:
Categories of personal information we collect. The table below lists the statutory categories of personal information recognized under California and similar US state privacy laws, an example of each, and whether we have collected it as account information in the past twelve (12) months. This describes only the account information we collect about you directly. Customer Data you upload may contain additional categories of personal information that you determine and control (see Section 14).
| Category | Examples | Collected |
|---|---|---|
| A. Identifiers | Name, email address, username, account name, and IP address | YES |
| B. Personal information under the California Customer Records statute | Name together with contact or financial information | NO |
| C. Protected classification characteristics | Age, gender, race, ethnicity, or other demographic data | NO |
| D. Commercial information | Subscription, credit, and billing records processed through our payment processor | YES |
| E. Biometric information | Fingerprints and voiceprints | NO |
| F. Internet or other electronic network activity | Service usage logs, the features you use, and errors encountered when you use the Services | YES |
| G. Geolocation data | Precise device location | NO |

| I. Professional or employment-related information | Job title, work history, and information submitted in a job application | NO |

| K. Inferences | Profiles or summaries drawn from any of the information above | NO |
| L. Sensitive personal information | Account log-in credentials (such as your password) that permit access to your account | YES |
Sensitive personal information. The only category of sensitive personal information we collect as account information is your account log-in credentials, which we collect and use solely to authenticate you and manage your access to the Services. We do not use or disclose this information for any purpose that would give you a right to limit its use under applicable law, and we do not use it to infer characteristics about you.
Sale or sharing. We have not sold or "shared" (for cross-context behavioral advertising) personal information in the preceding twelve (12) months, and we will not do so. We use your personal information only for the business purposes described in this Policy.
Opt-out preference signals. Some browsers and extensions let you broadcast an opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC). Because we do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising, these signals generally do not change how we process your information. Where required by law, we will treat a recognized opt-out preference signal as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing.
How to exercise your rights. Contact us at privacy@majie.ai. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to our verifying the agent's authority. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.
Appealing our decision. If we decline to act on your request, we will tell you why, and you may appeal that decision by contacting us at privacy@majie.ai with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to your appeal within the time required by applicable law. If your appeal is denied, you may, where applicable law provides for it, submit a complaint to your state attorney general.
California "Shine the Light." California residents may request information about categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct-marketing purposes. Because we do not disclose personal information for third-party direct marketing, we have no such disclosures to report; you may still submit a request to privacy@majie.ai.
Where you upload Customer Data that contains personal information about third parties (such as your own customers or employees), you determine the purposes and means of processing that information and act as the data controller (or "business") for it, and we act as your processor (or "service provider"). We process that Customer Data only to provide the Services to you and in accordance with the Terms of Service.
You are solely responsible for that Customer Data, and you represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights, lawful basis, and any required notices or consents for it.
Data Processing Agreement (DPA). A DPA will be made available to eligible business customers when required for their use of the Services; to request one, contact us at info@majie.ai. If we enter into a DPA with you, it governs our processing of personal data on your behalf and is incorporated into the Terms of Service (Section 16).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a prominent notice or by contacting you directly where appropriate. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, and certain features may surface links to external sources that we do not operate, control, or verify, such as the web-search results the Service may return in response to a query (see Section 6). This Policy does not apply to those third-party websites or services. When you follow a link to a third party, that third party may collect information about you under its own terms and privacy notice, and any information you provide to it is governed by that third party's practices, not ours. We encourage you to review the privacy notice of any third-party website or service before providing personal information to it.
